Liam Bolton

Managing Director

Our MD started his career as a project manager for the UK’s largest aerospace organisation. After working in Saudi Arabia on a global communications project for a long period of time, he decided to start a career in Legal Recruitment.

Over the last 4 years Liam has built his own brand within the market and has achieved amazing results due to his hard work and dedication.
This has helped Liam achieve his outstanding reputation within the legal sector.

He is the leading force behind the LJW model and its values. Liam currently works in our Central manchester office managing our clients and consultants.

William Murphy

Founding Director

William is a founding Director of LJW and brings a wealth of expertise in Corporate Governance and Finance, gained from previous CEO roles within Construction, Development and more recently, recruiting and accountancy businesses. Educated to MBA level at Manchester Metropolitan University, William controls the commercial aspects of LJW, ensuring the business is resourced to fully meet all of its statutory and Corporate requirements.

William spent over 20 years as a Director of a Construction Company with an annual turnover in excess of £40m before entering property development with his own Company before selling that business.

Building upon his experience gained in operating at a senior executive level position over many years, William now brings that experience to LJW,in order to provide the business with Corporate business strategy and decision making, whilst ensuring the Corporate policies that drive the LJW vision, are fully aligned with the direction of business growth and delivery of services, borne from integrity and client driven values.

Joshua Watts

Senior Consultant

Josh began his career working as a sales negotiator for a large UK business broker. He then moved across to recruitment bringing his excellent communicational skills and business development knowledge.

Josh now specialises in recruiting legal professionals in the top 200’s, leading regional and boutique practices in the Northwest.

He aims to build long-term relationships with both candidates and clients and pride himself on delivering a professional, honest, and dedicated service.

Ellen Tiffany

Recruitment Consultant

Ellen has recently graduated with a first-class Law degree from the University of Manchester. Throughout her studies, she has found a passion for the Criminal Justice System.

She has learnt some valuable skills during her studies, such as drive, determination and perseverance. She has a key passion for helping people achieve their full potential and has excellent attention to detail within all aspects of her work.

Ellen knows that these skills will help her to become an excellent recruitment consultant here at LJW!

Ellie Casey

Recruitment Consultant

Ellie began her career as an Office Manager at a law Firm in Central Manchester. During this time, she gained a good understanding of business operations and the value and importance of supporting the firm in her role.

While Ellie was working as an Office Manager she oversaw all internal recruitment. Sourcing and interviewing the candidates for roles within the firm was one of Ellie’s key roles, as well as working and managing a busy office environment.

Ellie works incredibly well under pressure and prides herself on her organisation and customer service.

Alicia McGoogan

Legal Recruitment Consultant

Alicia has recently graduated with a first-class Law degree from the University of Manchester. Alicia has a passion for business, networking and entrepreneurship.

Alicia prides herself on her ability to complete thorough research into a variety of legal sectors, including residential conveyancing, commercial property, private client and family law. Alicia understands the importance of maintaining a proficient understanding of the current climate, whilst following recent market trends and legal developments in order to provide exceptional advice to both clients and candidates.
